Nigel Parsons has recently been appointed as CEO, Asahi Europe & International and will formally assume this position in the coming months. Nigel joined Asahi in 2021 as CEO of the Asahi Lifestyle Beverages division, and most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer, Oceania, leading the full commercial remit across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to his career in Asahi, Nigel held senior leadership roles at Mondelez International including Business Unit President, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Managing Director, Australia.

Andrew started his career in 1990, working for the New Zealand Department of Inland Revenue as an Investigating Accountant, then joining PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1995, working in progressively more senior tax roles in the New Zealand & UK practices. In 2002, he moved to Sony Corporation in the role of European Tax Director, then joining SABMiller as European Tax Manager in 2005. He quickly progressed to leading SABMiller’s finance functions as the Finance Director for Russia (2008), Czech Republic & Slovakia (2012) and Poland (2015). Through the transition from SABMiller, through AB InBev and into Asahi, he was charged with leading the finance function as the CFO of Central Europe. In April 2017, Andrew became Chief Finance Officer of Asahi in Europe and later Chief Financial Officer of Asahi Europe & International.

Nathalie began her career in marketing with Cadbury before being appointed Europe Innovation Manager. In 2010, she joined Danone as Global Senior Brand Manager for Infant Milks, progressing to Regional Marketing Manager for Early life Nutrition in the Middle East based in Dubai. In 2015 Nathalie become Global Strategic Planning Director for Danone Dairy based in Paris, and then later in charge of accelerating the group’s plant-based strategy. In 2019 Nathalie was appointed General Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg across all categories for Danone. Effective 1st April 2024, as Chief Growth Officer, AEI, Nathalie leads the new Commercial Growth Function which includes brand and portfolio, strategy and insights, innovation, marketing services, new business development, revenue growth management, sales, channels and trade marketing center of excellence.

Catherine started her career in Thames Water in 1995, moving to Cadbury in 1999, where she worked in various senior HR roles in the UK before moving to Melbourne as HRD for the Australia and New Zealand Cadbury Businesses in 2008. In 2012, she joined SABMiller as a Regional Head of OD Europe at their Europe Hub in Switzerland for 2 years before moving to Prague as the HRD for the Czech and Slovak Businesses.

Transitioning from SABMiller, through AB InBev and into Asahi, she became Regional HRD for Asahi Europe, then following a number of restructures became Chief HR Officer for Asahi Europe & International covering, Europe, the Americas and Asia.

As an expert with over 20 years’ experience in the areas of sustainability, diversity and public affairs, Pavlína joined Plzeňský Prazdroj as Corporate Affairs Director in 2020. Prior to this she led business-driven ESG initiatives, chaired an advisory group to the Czech Government on corporate responsibility and the non-profit sector, actively participating in European networks fostering sustainability and diversity. Under her leadership in Plzeňský Prazdroj implemented a bold and innovative new sustainability strategy fostering strong collaboration with hop and barley farmers as well as local industry associations. Pavlína has advocated for packaging circularity and the cooperation of industry coalitions promoting systemic changes, such as DRS systems in Czechia and Slovakia as well as strengthening the role of local industry associations. Pavlína assumed the role of Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Asahi Europe & International in April 2024.

David started his career in 1998 in a start-up company producing nutraceutics in France. In 2001, he joined the beer business in Scottish & Newcastle where he held various positions in innovation and in manufacturing. In 2008, he joined Carlsberg as the Group product Innovation Director (beer, cider, water, soft drinks), before moving to Operations where he led successfully Production functions in Western Europe (11 plants across 9 markets), Production & Quality functions in Asia (59 plants across 9 countries) and the end to end operations for Malaysia/Singapore. In 2017, David became Vice President Operations for Danone Water Indonesia, managing 10.000 people across 37 plants and 16 Distribution Centres. In February 2021, David joined Asahi Europe & International as Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Rob started his career at Barclays Bank in 2004, before joining SABMiller plc in 2008. Rob held a variety of senior HR roles in SABMiller, firstly in the Head Office, and then as HR Director for Pivovary Topvar in Slovakia, Head of OD and Change in Plzeňský Prazdroj and HR Vice President in Ursus Breweries in Romania. After the European operations of SABMiller became part of Asahi, Rob moved to Prague as HR Director for the Czech, Slovak, German and Austrian cluster from 2018 to 2023. Most recently, Rob has been based in Tokyo from 2023 to 2026, working in Asahi Group Holdings as Global Head of HR. In this role Rob has been driving the global integration of key people processes across Talent, Safety and Well-being and Compensation, and setting up programs to develop consistent business capabilities globally.
