IS Business Partner

The role

This is an exciting time to join the team, with the Asahi business entering into a new phase of its journey in the UK and Europe, following Asahi International Ltd.’s acquisition of the Fuller’s drinks business in April 2019. The operational footprint in the UK has widened, bringing new brewing and distribution capabilities as well as an expanded portfolio - now including cask ales and ciders for the first time.

We are now looking to bring in a Senior Information Services Business Partner, accountable for developing and maintaining relationships between IS and all Back Office Business functions across including but not limited to Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal and Corporate Affairs. You will also be responsible for managing the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programmes across all AEL Group companies which support Back Office Business functions.
Your key responsibilities as an IS Business Partner will include;
*Drive strategic discussions with business leaders at a level of Finance, HR and Corporate Affairs Directors (and below), challenge requirements and guide stakeholders to determine and ensure longer term alignment between IS and business commercial strategies
*Establish and manage good practice reviews and associated governance to support business collaboration for Back Office functions in order to create win-win situations between IS and the business functions
*Owns the development of IS project business cases as part of New Demand process relevant for Back Office business functions
*Accountable for the delivery of the completed business cases for Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal and Corporate Affairs business, feeds them into IS CAPEX budget in line with the budgeting cycle, formulates project portfolio
*Research and analyse latest technology and digital developments and assess their suitability in the context of AEL business strategy
*Propose technology for consideration to relevant senior and middle management business stakeholders inside Back Office business functions as a vehicle to maximise the efficiency of the core business, gain competitive advantages as well as to transform and evolve existing business models
*Identifies opportunities for application of technology across all business areas in order to enable AEL Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal and Corporate Affairs businesses to develop and maintain competitive advantage and transforms those into tangible business case proposals and projects
*Primary point of accountability for delivery of approved portfolio of projects relevant to the Back Office business functions
*Responsible for delivery against the approved business case across the full portfolio of projects enabling the Back Office business functions
*Owns and manages the CAPEX budget of the approved portfolio of Back Office business projects
Your Ideal Background;
*Degree in business administration or a technology related field
*Demonstrable expereince working alongside Finance functions in an IS projects capacity
*Extensive experience of end-to-end delivery of IS solutions which delivered real tangible measurable commercial business benefit across all stages - from idea conception to an operational services, supported by completed business case
*Extensive experience and proven track record in a combination of IT Business Partnering roles and IT Delivery roles
*Preferable experience in the beer (or drinks) industry, FMCG or manufacturing sectors
*Experience of working with and exposure to Senior Level Business stakeholders
