This is an exciting time to join the team, with the Asahi business entering into a new phase of its journey in the UK and Europe, following Asahi's acquisition of the Fuller’s drinks business in April 2019 which has brought new brewing and distribution capabilities as well as an expanded portfolio.
We are currently looking for a HR Assistant to support a fast paced and ever evolving HR Centre of Excellence function based in the Asahi International Headquarters in Woking.
The HR Assistant executes the administrative and transactional HR services for all Asahi UK based employees. Managing the new starter process, ensuring accuracy of the HR system, whilst also providing assistance with the Asahi onboarding process.
*New starter administration - preparing and sending of contracts and relevant documentation for all employees
*Working with the HR Ops Lead to form Compensation and Benefits structures
*Assisting in the monthly Payroll process
*Managing the new starter, leaver and mover trackers - ensuring necessary documentation is received, checked and shared with other departments, as appropriate
*Ensuring HR systems are up to date and accurate - Sage HR, Payroll and Employee Self Service
*Inputting of monthly payroll
*Management of the Employee Self Service system - ensuring employees have the necessary access and correct information
*Managing the HR Operations in box - ensuring all requests are dealt with in a timely manner e.g. payroll queries, holiday system, payslips, P60s
*Benefits administration - linked to joiners, movers and leavers, for all UK based Asahi employees, with external providers
*Maintenance of all employee files
*Tracking progress for mandatory Company training - Competition law, GDPR and Anti-bribery
*Maintenance of HR internal intranet pages - including training, benefits, policies and org charts
*Supporting Senior HR Operations Advisor - as and when required
Your Ideal Background:
*Some experience sitting within a junior HR Generalist role, post education
*Some experience within Payroll and Compensation & Benefits
*Bright, enthusiastic proactive attitude
