Reporting into our Beer Fermentation Team Leader, as part of our exciting growth plan, our Chiswick brewery are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Brewing Operator to join the team of 16. The Brewing Operator will be critical in supporting the Team Leader in the efficient running of the brewery and is a great entry level role for someone wanting the opportunity to work in the super-premium beer industry.
The Brewing Operator will be responsible for the following key outputs and accountabilities:
*The successful production and quality of our beer!
*Supporting the Beer Fermentation Team Leader with ensuring the super-premium quality of beers
*Ensure all production areas are well maintained and cleaned to the highest hygienic standards.
*Ensure that Production complies with the relevant food acts at all times.
*Manual handling and beer movements within the department
*Being responsible for the department housekeeping and hygiene regulation within the brewery
*Strong administration skills, using SAP and SCADA control systems to capture beer movements within the brewery
Your Ideal Background:
*At least 1 years previous brewing experience preferred
*A strong interest in the brewing industry and the super-premium sector
*Ability to work on your own with minimum supervision
*Strong IT skills and experience using SAP and SCADA
*Experience of undertaking manual handling as part of a physically demanding role
*A strong team player and focus on attention to detail
*A reliable individual, happy to work flexible shifts
Shifts will begin at 5am, therefore the successful individual will need to be able to accommodate an early working pattern and please note there is limited parking at our Chiswick brewery.
