What to expect

There are three steps.

Initial interview

This typically would be discussion around your experience to date, before moving onto the key competencies for the role. This may take place over the phone with one of our Talent Acquisition Business Partners, or face to face with the Hiring Manager.

In-depth interview and challenge

This is typically with another senior member of the team you are looking to join. The challenges are business related exercises, and relate specifically to the role you are applying for. In customer services for example, you may be asked to talk through a case study based on a real-life challenge we have faced. In sales, for example, we normally ask you to present back a pre-prepared business case. We will also cover a number of competency based questions to better assess your experience in relation to our vacancy.

Psychometrics

Depending on the role you may be required to complete a psychometric assessment. The results of which will be used as an additional tool within our overall recruitment process. There is no pass or fail, good or bad. This is about finding the right people to thrive within our environment.

Top tips

  • Think about the wider beer industry, and consider visiting an outlet or supermarket to see what’s out there.
  • Review the competencies on the job description – this will give you a good idea of the areas we will want to discuss at interview.
  • Take a deep breath, the interview is not designed to trick and we want you to be yourself!
  • Bring along your questions; we see our interviews as a two-way process and it’s important that you understand our business and what it’s like to work here.
  • Allow plenty of time to get here, as traffic can be unpredictable. There’s nothing worse than starting out stressed because you are running late.
